Week 3 – First Real Travel Week (Adjusting Off the Field Too)

This is when the season really starts feeling real. Travel kicks in, and everything off the field gets harder.

We’re packing bags after class, emailing professors ahead of time, and making sure assignments are either done early or ready to work on during the trip. I remember having my laptop open on the bus, trying to get ahead on school while also thinking about hitters and scouting reports.

On the field, we were still a little inconsistent, but improving. Pitchers were starting to attack more confidently, and hitters were putting together better at-bats. It felt like we were close to putting it all together—we just needed that one big weekend to prove it.
