Week 5 – Regis & Carrying Momentum

After a big weekend like MSU Denver, it’s easy to have a letdown—but we didn’t.

We picked up a solid win over Regis (8–6) and kept things moving in the right direction. As a pitching staff, this is when I felt like we started settling in more. Guys understood their roles better, and we started executing game plans more consistently.

Off the field, though, the grind was picking up. Travel, games, and school were all hitting at once. I had nights where I’d get back to the hotel after a game and go straight into homework. It’s not ideal, but that’s part of being a student-athlete—you figure it out.
