Week 7 – Conference Grind (Routine & Consistency)

By this point, the season turns into a routine—but it’s a demanding one.
Lift in the morning, classes during the day, practice, then travel and games. Then repeat. There’s not much downtime, and you have to stay disciplined with everything—recovery, school, and preparation.
On the field, we were consistent. As a pitcher, I felt more comfortable each outing. Mechanics felt better, approach was clearer, and I trusted what I was doing. Our staff as a whole was doing a better job limiting damage and letting our offense do its thing.
Doubleheaders were tough, though. Long days at the field, then going back and doing homework at night—it wears on you. But we handled it.
