Week 9 – Colorado Mesa Series

This was a big test for us.

We played Colorado Mesa and lost all 4:

  • 13-17

  • 1-5

  • 3-4

  • 3-7

As a pitcher, those games are tough, but we didn’t back down. We kept competing the whole time. Even though we lost all four, I think this week showed us what we need to improve. It kind of reset us in a way. We saw the level we need to be at, especially as a pitching staff—executing pitches, limiting mistakes, and staying locked in every inning. It definitely wasn’t the result we wanted, but I think it made us hungrier. We know we’re better than how we played that weekend, and it gave us something to build off of going forward. It showed that we can play with top teams, even if we didn’t get the win.
